Anyone every try an office chair with arms that fold out of the way so you can play the guitar? Any recommendations?
Following. Been twisting my back out of place or banging into the arms for years.

Go to Staples, check out the drafting chairs. Most can be had with no armrests, adjustable height, foot rest, etc. They will go on sale every now and then.

I don't have a picture, but that's what I use in my guitar room for armless seating.

Looks like the drafting chair idea could work. I have also seen the chairs with the folding arms at Staples and Canada Computers but I'm not sure they fold back far enough. Something like this one. Still comfy for computer activities.

Ideas noted--I used to have an armless chair for use at a computer--desktop or laptop--and I do sometimes play stuff I find online
But the armless chairs we have now don't work well for that--

So I decided to take the advice of one of the members here and I removed one arm from the chair. I think that'll work out fine and save me some money.
