thanks for the love fellas. It's worth a note that the people who have reacted to this amp know Steve's work very well. He's a gifted technician when building amps, that's for sure. What I find puts him apart from many other techs is his "matrix" -like understanding of the relationship between the preamp and power amp of the circuit. I can describe this amp as Fast, if that makes sense to you. the reaction time from picking to the amp's response is super quick. and very touch sensitive. the little mini switches (which aren't common with Moratto amps), give it a USA, UK, and straight through/ balls to the wall sound.

and the cab, being closed back, is nice and deep and punchy, the way that only 10s can provide.

given that is all pine, it's way lighter than one would think.

Thanks man. It’s a super versatile and light-weight amp. The cabinet is so well suited to many styles and since it’s also quite light - it fits easily in most cars and doesn’t require a roadie/ chiropractor lol.

also I was a big neil young fan. And playing through 10’s is a nice change.

I'm picking up a clean vintage Marshall 4x10 cab with brown grille cloth this friday! I'll be experiencing that nice change as well 😎

I'd have to save up the coin and 18 watts is a little low for me (30 is the best imo). But cool stuff regardless!!
