When Billy Joel was doing his Madison Square Garden residency on January 11th he invited some special guests. Those guests were Mick Jones and Lou Gramm and they performed two Foreigner songs.

Urgent:

Cold As Ice:

A nice "mini" Foreigner reunion.

Was never a huge fan but they had some good tunes for sure, had the first couple of albums.
I knew Lou had been sick, but I wouldn't have been able to pick him out of a line-up with a gun to my head.
Good to see him out again.
Saw them way back in the day,not sure the year ,but it was at the Ottawa Ex,they had a big inflatable jukebox and a big choir for that hit ballad they had around the time.

I was more of a fan of them in the 70's. Not fond of that 80's sound. A couple of years ago I went to Casino Rama to see Foreigner. As for all the criticism of them being a tribute band it was a pretty good show for $40. Kelly Hansen does a great job.

I was also at that Ottawa Ex show, Bubb. Still have my ticket - Friday, Aug. 23, 1985. Joe Walsh opened.
Yup,that's the one. '85 huh ? wow .A lifetime ago .
Joe was the main draw for me,he was a hoot.
We got down right in front of the stage with a bunch of other JW fans.
They would get a Joe Joe Joe chant going and he would answer every "Joe" with a "What"
Joe ! What? , Joe ! What?, Joe ! What? ...lol:D
