I try to imagine my Father at that age rolling around on the grass in a fight... nope, just not possible. What is going on? 65 and 71 years old respectively

Even in what you are calling "the bin trades", there are still those who excel at assembling those bin parts into something that they can be proud of doing - and something that stands out to a person in any trade as an exceptional job. There's an art to everything. It's all about attention to detail and not saying "good enough".
BTW, I've seen Vadsy's work in person and he is one of those who excels at what he does.

All the trades are becoming "dumbed down". Everything is pre-made, pre-fabbed, pre-stamped, pre-assembled, etc, etc. in the name of cheaper & faster. Real tradesmen are a dying breed.

what the f#$%^ is going on with people???
"Common sense" has become an oxymoron. It is far from 'common', in fact I find it to be exceedingly rare.

Listen, I'm just messing around here, I'm not taking any of this seriously and neither should you. The field I'm in, which I'm decent at, I've been in for a while. Always something new to learn though....
Sorry for the fangs...I've had a few run ins lately that have me annoyed. Cut back draws, retarded specs with unreasonable warranty expectations etc. I realize that Arch/Eng's don't have all the answers but should listen to/consult the pros in the field who know from practical, real world experience. Not saying "you" per se, but in general.

Honestly, no worries. I took no offence and didn't feel the 'fangs'.
