Amazing female jazz guitarist!! ...especially given that it is 1958!

Apart from Emily Remler (September 1957 -May 1990) and Mimi Fox, how many other traditional female jazz guitarists can you name?

Mary Osborne (July 17, 1921 March 4, 1992) was an American jazz electric guitarist. Osborne was born in Minot, North Dakota. She learned violin as a child and could also play guitar and bass by age 15. She heard Charlie Christian play in Al Trent's band at a stop in Bismarck, North Dakota; Christian became one of her most prominent influences. She went on to tour with Buddy Rogers, Dick Stabile, Terry Shand, Joe Venuti, and Russ Morgan, and recorded with Mary Lou Williams, Beryl Booker, Coleman Hawkins, Mercer Ellington, Ethel Waters, and Wynonie Harris. From 1952 to 1960, she was featured on Jack Sterling's CBS radio show. Later in life she settled in Bakersfield, California, where she died, and only performed occasionally, though she would play jazz festivals into the 1990s.

IIRC, Carol Kaye played jazz guitar before subbing on bass for someone in a session, and the rest was history.

There is also Leni Stern (Mike's wife). Not strictly jazz, though.

A few years ago, I was on an Air Canada international flight and saw a documentary called "The Girls in the Band". It was about female American jazz musicians from the 1930's up to present. I really enjoyed it and would not mind watching it again on the big screen.
