Picked up a d-15 and the neck has some separatation at bottom side (see picture). Possibly something one can do? Or better to take in? Nice guitar, but action is high because of the neck.

This will need pro skills. Please do take it to a qualified luthier. Those D15 sound so good, it's worth every penny you'll put in.

I do a bit of guitar tech work and if that was my guitar I would take it to a pro.

That's not really a guitar to practice on ;)

I am in Alberta. I will take it in. What would the value on this be in this condition? Just curious!

Get an estimate for the repair, which should not be THAT cheap, then substract. More or less.
These Martins used a bolt on neck basically so a traditional type neck reset may not be needed.
