The iridium really has made home recording so easy for me. I was practicing some triads the other day and ended up putting together this backing track. Just wanted to drop it here in case you find it fun to jam on :) The chord changes are kinda interesting in the chorus, so gives you more room to branch out.

This is the solo I played on it.

I used to have a lot of excuses not to record. No good mics, not quiet enough, amp to close to monitors to be able to properly EQ, didn't want to setup/tear down recording equipment, didn't want to fiddle with levels/EQ every single time, etc.

I got an UA Arrow and an Iridium, and now I can quickly start recording anytime!

Exactly! I have my Iridium hooked up to my Arrow all the time. Can start recording in like 5 minutes. And it sounds great too.

I use the Iridium with a Scarlett, but same deal-it makes everything dramatically simpler, and in the end sounds better than my tube amps through a RLIR type device (they always sound a bit fizzy to me with the attenuators) and almost as good as mic’d cabs.

for sure! I’ve even recorded a full EP with it and honestly the sounds were great!
