The iridium really has made home recording so easy for me. I was practicing some triads the other day and ended up putting together this backing track. Just wanted to drop it here in case you find it fun to jam on The chord changes are kinda interesting in the chorus, so gives you more room to branch out.

This is the solo I played on it.

I used to have a lot of excuses not to record. No good mics, not quiet enough, amp to close to monitors to be able to properly EQ, didn't want to setup/tear down recording equipment, didn't want to fiddle with levels/EQ every single time, etc.

I got an UA Arrow and an Iridium, and now I can quickly start recording anytime!

Exactly! I have my Iridium hooked up to my Arrow all the time. Can start recording in like 5 minutes. And it sounds great too.

I use the Iridium with a Scarlett, but same deal-it makes everything dramatically simpler, and in the end sounds better than my tube amps through a RLIR type device (they always sound a bit fizzy to me with the attenuators) and almost as good as mic’d cabs.

for sure! I’ve even recorded a full EP with it and honestly the sounds were great!
