Saw a few seconds of it as I was driving east on the 401 tonight. But it was overcast and you could barely make it out....damn :frown:

I love seeing stuff like that. So disappointing when weather gets in the way.

No kidding. There was no chance of seeing it from downtown TO and I was bummed.

Oh well, the next one is August 28, 2007, reaching totality at (d'oh!) 6:37 AM Toronto time. The moon will be hidden in the haze, and daylight, again. The maximum shadow happens precisely at sunrise/moonset for Torontonians.

The good news is: the Earth's umbra shadow will cover the moon 5:53 AM...well before it settles to the west-south-west horizon...or into Hamilton's lights if you stand near the CN Tower...
