Does anyone have a line on neck plate screws that are 2" in total length? I have a couple of sets of 1-3/4" but wedge shimming a neck for a B16 adds 1/8-3/16" on two of the screw holes. I'm afraid it will either strip out the neck holes in time or be unstable when playing.

You might have to buy the neck plate, but there are some which are 51mm=2.007874 in.

yea, if I don't find anything meant specifically for the task online I'll go the Home Depot, Lowes and the local industrial nut and bolt shops route

I find HD has a much better hardware selection than Lowe's (might be store specific so ymmv), but don't forget to check Lee Valley as well if you need more options. Probably a pretty standard 10 or 12 gague screw though...

@vadsy I've got 3 only, 2" oval head. I have lots of stainless 2" flat head, and I have a ton of stainless oval head 2-1/2"
And of course, all the 1-3/4 in the world.....

anything there get you excited?

BTW , I've always had better luck finding oval head screws at Lowes.

I have 8 of these in 1-3/4" nickel, if any two of what you have look similar and are 2 inch, its time for a horse trade of some sort

@vadsy Here's a team picture for you. The 3 at the front are the 2" long oval heads. Next up is the 2" long flat head. And that long guy at the back is a 2-1/2" oval head. I've got lots of everything except the 2" oval heads
