My friend says that Les Pauls have a bolt on neck. I disagree because I read it was a glue on. He has a knock-off (Hondo) that has a bolt on neck. Somebody settle this?

And we were in Long & McQuade playing for a while and he was playing a Zakk Wylde Camo LP and then realized it was an Epiphone. Is the model supposed to be by epiphone or gibson made it, then epiphone made a copy?

Les Pauls are set neck. No bolt on. As far as the Zakk Wylde guitars, there are both Gibson and Epiphone models.

Fyi-->

Epi is owned by Gibson
[or is a division of, if you will]
Epi makes allot of the same models as Gibson
overseas [China / Korea] thusly cheaper

The only Les Paul copies made with bolt on necks that were anything half decent, were made by Ibanez in the 70s and eary 80s. All Gibson Les Pauls are, as had been noted before, are "SET NECK" YOur friend knows nothing.
