I have L-280's in the neck and middle positions of my Strat and an L-280S in the bridge. The output seems a bit weak as compared to the stock Fender pickups. The neck and middle measure 7.5K and the bridge 13K. Does anyone know if these values are correct?

hi, I have those pickups
L-280 # 1- 9.27 K ohm
L-280 # 2- 8.86 K ohm
L 280-S- 12.71 K ohm
these are hum-cancelling pu's
resistance values may not necessarily indicate output level

I love the old Bill Lawrence L-250's.
Those pickups don't color your sound, it brings out the tone out you your guitar.

Those pickups make excellent neck pickups for Hard Rock / Classic 80's Metal.

Now, you got me curiously thinking about those L-280's.

From my experience, when it says Bill Lawrence, you can't go wrong 👍
