Does any of you ever had experience with this store?

I'm having a few problems to get a set of pickups from them and I wanted to know your experience.

Thanks.

I haven't ordered anything online but I bought 2 of my cabinets, the rack case for our PA and various bits and pieces there. Service in the store is good.

I read the whole big thread, my problem is not as big as this, but it pisses me off to order online an item tagged "stock" to be told 2 weeks later that in fact, it was not stock...

I've dealt with them only on a Gator rack and it was great service, quick delivery. Everything else bought on-line has been from AXEMusic.com, really like them. But I'm supposed to be abstaining from more gear purchases, guess there's always clothes!

What I've done in the past is give a local store a link to the product I wanted on LA Music's site (or any other Canadian site for that matter) and they usually match it or tell you how low they can go. In most cases they've lowered the price even lower than LA's for me.

What's the worst that could happen if you asked them if they match it? Say no and tell you to just buy it there? Big deal, it's worth a shot and it saves you the wait time and bullshit you may have to put up with.

I tried that at MusicStop, was chatting with the guy and he was so nice, when I told him I could get an ESP for better than $300 cheaper, his demeanor changed drastically, he got out from behind the counter and tried to intimidate me with his 6'+ size and a 'stern' talking to about shipping, customer base, warranty, left-hand surcharge, etc, you-know, like he was spoiling for a fight. I'm 5-5" but am not intimidated by taller people but he really pissed me off, I won't buy anything there again. I spent near $3K on gear this year, they did not get a nickel.

ah-hahahaha

Holy damn... that's ridiculous,

Class Axe is a small shop in Kemptville, and they've always done it without a problem. The guys workin' there are really nice though, amazing customer service.

Basically, I get my gear between them and Steve's Music. But Steve's usually has better prices than LA so I don't even need to go down that road... then Steve's is about an hour and a half away from me, where Class Axe is only about 20 minutes. I think I go to both about equally though... usually go to Class Axe for used stuff and Steve's for new, but not always.

its a good store, good service, good axe players. I go to the one in port credit, i bring my axe in for tune ups, they do a great job. The are also very careful with what they do. I have asked for advice from some of the store reps. they never fail to help. Great products there great axes/amps all the shit you could ask for from marshalls stock whammys amps to picks ect ect.

And not to mention a knock out sexy blonde there usually there during the days at the counter. hwopv , I think next time i will have to bring my axe in demo it for her maybe she will give me her number :p probably not she looks like she has 15 boyfriends lol.

I bought my Sterling 5 HH 2008 Limited Edition from LA Music this past July. The price that I bought it for was unbelievable. No other store had one in stock and would/could come close to the price that I paid.

Here's a photo of it.

This was the first and only time that i've dealt with them. They have a great bass dept stocked full of gear. And not the cheap stuff.
