Just a quick question. Could one use a Korg P4X Pandora effects unit with a bass?

I know that is was developed mainly for guitar. It is presently discontinued by Korg. Now they make a P4XD that is for both guitar and bass. I am sure the electronics have not been altered that greatly in the new version.

I have tried it and it seems to work fine, but I do not want to toast it! Would that be a concern?

A bass will not damage an effects unit designed for a guitar, it just might not sound good being as some effects pedals are tuned to respond best to the frequencies of the guitar.
