So I'm sure like a lot of you I tend to kill time on Kijji searching for gear that might grab my attention. I will go through my local pages but will also go to Kijji Ontario and search under Musical Instruments and then narrow things down based on what I'm considering (ie. Bogner, Mesa, PRS, Gibson etc)..

I was chatting with a gear buddy and we got to talking about a Soldano Hot rod 50 plus that I bought off him years ago, in fact it's how we first met. I had searched the day before for Soldano on Kijji and nothing really there. He then exclaimed that there was a HR 50 plus head for a solid deal in TO.

I ran my search again and couldn't find it so I asked him for the link.

I didn't think much of it but emailed the seller and set up to buy the head. The guy said he had it listed for a while at a much higher price with no action ($800 more than I paid) but he got tired and dumped the price so I was lucky to snag a deal.

I thought about it a little more than looked at his listing again. He had the amp listed on Kijji buy/sell "other" versus the "musical instruments" hence it wasn't coming up in my search.

I think that's why he wasn't getting any action on the amp and I'm very glad I was able to snag it.

Another thing to think about it lazy (or poor) spellers. Searching for common misspellings like "squire" or "yamha" can sometimes find you a few more results worth looking at.

^^^ I love doing that on ebay. I've grabbed some super expensive toolmakers stuff by searching for things spelled wrong. LOL
