Its Down to 2 Axes

Ok heres the situation im buying a new guitar and I have narrowed it to two axes ( I hope). Im gonna buy a ESP LTD MH-400 or a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser and i would like a helpfull guitar know it all to tell me which one they think I should buy, please name some pros and cons if u can im a bit of a guitar newb. Also if you think i can get a better guitar for the same buck please tell me your opinion ( I dont wanna buy used though)

play them side by side through the exact same amp you own. pay attention to details in the finish, the frets, the tone, the pickup placement.. it all counts.

i've played 1 ltd, and never played a C-1... so you'll have to decide.
