Ohmno is headlining In the Soil’s Friday night at The Merchant Ale House with a garage rock operetta about supernatural monsters of fictional Southern Ontarian urban legend. Wow that was a mouthful. Is The Chippawa Blob a monster or misunderstood; will they catch The Cherry Beast; will The Giant Bloody Eyeball ruin everything; and most importantly: who the heck is Dumpster Baby’s daddy? With special guests (including special appearance by David Liebe Hart from Tim & Eric Awesome Show).

My buds in Depression Era are teaming up with automatesautomates (1 common member) on a music/performance piece called Massages by Strangers going on all weekend in The Silver Spire United Church as part of Rhizomes ("a choose your own art adventure that winds through the hallways and spaces of this historical building"). It's exactly what it sounds like: get a massage while listening to live dark electro.

Improv fusion duo SoundSound is also doing a special set in The Yurt, Sunday @ 6pm

And get yer dub on with JFM at The Warehouse, Saturday at midnight.

saw a band my buddys uncle was in tonight at the warehouse, they were kick ass.
