I have some bad luck with amps lately..

First had to have Egnater Renegade fixed a few months ago .think I posted it somewhere on here ..

And the Genz-Benz I bought and took to my amp tech to check over , he replaced one tube and biased amp, clean the pots , was working great , Bought a new cab for on Sunday . Now heard pop and smoke , that's it gone.

Sorry to hear, I have an Egnater with issues myself.

That's why it's always nice to have multiple tube amps. :)
An SS backup is not a bad idea either.

Was the new cab the same ohms as the amp?
