Yup St.Croix and St. Kitts are next. Check out a pilot app called MyRadar. You can get a hurricane addition that shows you all of the hurricanes/typhoons in the world in real time and plots their likely direction. Plus earthquakes and other stuff.

welcome to planet earth!!

so far we've been luckier than the dinosaurs....
I don't know about that. They ruled for millions of years and were exterminated by external forces. We've made it, what, less than 100,000 years and have nearly exterminated ourselves on at least a couple of occasions - possibly more we haven't been told about. There was a story on the news this morning about a Russian military guy they are crediting with not starting WW III because he didn't respond to some false alarms. I seriously doubt we will do as well as Barney, in the long run.

I'd highly recommend making alternate plans for a Caribbean vacation this winter..

Death toll mounts as Hurricane Maria nears Turks and Caicos
The thing is that tourism represents a significant chunk of the Caribbean economy, and many areas of the Caribbean will be largely unable to receive visitors for a year, if not longer. There ARE cruises, I suppose, but they still need somewhere to dock and let the passengers disembark and shop for a bit.

Just out of curiosity, what areas of the Caribbean were left pretty much untouched? I know I didn't hear anything about Trinidad and Tobago or Aruba or Grenada being hit.
