I finally got the sound I was searching for..I had my buddy John at the Guitar Shop install a pair of genuine Gibson BurstBucker Pro Pickups!!
Man what a difference..my Skynyrd & Chilliwack tunes never sounded so hot!!

Many mods..changed all rings/pickguard from cream to black.
Replaced tophats with Knurled chrome knobs from Squier Telecaster.
2-way taped a pewter Eagle head on & Harley Stickers!!
Call it my "Screamin' Eagle!" :smilie_flagge17:

Read the HC reviews. Seems like the pups are the weak point in the axe. I can see why the change was needed.

I built another "Hybrid" today..
An Epiphone Les paul Standard Classic/Cherry Sunburst colour, with a Genuine pair of Gibson pickups installed. A 57 Classic in the neck & a 57 Classic Plus in the bridge. Both are chrome covered. The guitar is now an amazingly bright LEAD axe! I cannot begin to describe the beautiful advantages of this upgrade..
