I was thru espanola this past winter,,en route to elliot lake...for a fishing derby....
I got the grand tour of the town from my buddy....who lived there for years...
right on the hwy near the OPP
and we had some chinese food in town,,,,,good stuff....lol

To auger: Not much to the town, I'm afraid, but the Chinese food definitely is a perk here. Did you eat at the Golden Dragon or Hong Kong? I prefer the Hong Kong myself.

my buddy Is L. Frappier grew up in espanola...
and lived there for most of his life.... he is in his 40's now...
I think he has family in the area still ......
