Hey all, does anyone know if there are a certain height for the saddles to be at? Like do the strings have to be a certain height away from the pick ups and off the fret board? I only ask because mine look a little high towards the 4th, 5th and 6th strings.

Thanks for the help and love the site!

The saddles should be on the same radius (curve) as your fretboard.

Bridge height according to how high you want your action set, bass side is usally a touch higher.

Then adjust the pickups accordingly.

Pick up a General Precision Pocket Ruler at Can. Tire.

You can adjust the string height at the fret closest to your pickups. As a general rule I set my strings 4/64" from the bottom of the strings to the top of the fret; this is just a rough guide. If you are getting any string buzzing you can adjust accordingly.
