I have two vintage courier amps by FANON. As it stands now, one works and one doesn't. I'm wary of the guy I took it to and don't fully trust his work. The one that doesn't work is the one I love, 280 watt machine. The one that does work I am less in love with because it isn't as powerful (120 watt), but it is cool because it is a prototype.
He's saying the transistor is blown.. Does anyone have any info on these amps (schematics, transistor types, what's compatible?). I'm considering trying to take the transistor out of the prototype and putting it in the louder one.
Any info is greatly appreciated!
