Hey all, just joined the community. Was searching for luthier school information, and this awesome site showed up in my search!

Not new to guitar - intermediate player, looking to get better at lead playing and blues lead. Fairly accomplished at rhythm playing.

Build wise - I've put a couple of kits together (butchered the first, did well on the second), and have successfully done mods on my primary player (beautiful early 2000's Epiphone Les Paul Standard).

Looking forward to engaging in build discussions and learning from masters on how to advance my skills in playing lead and blues.

Peace

Welcome to the forum. Post often and ENJOY!

My guitar related hobby/interest is guitar electronics.

There are many talented, experienced and helpful folks here that can help with virtually all aspects of luthier, guitars, amplifiers, pedals, etc.

Never be afraid to ask what you think might be a stupid question. I do it all the time.
Here is proof https://guitarscanada.com/index.php?threads/no-such-thing-as-a-stupid-question-try-this-one.224148/ You might be very interested in the physics aspects of this thread in relation to guitar design and construction.

Cheers

Thanks Dave! I have much to learn, and I see I am in the right place!
Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for the welcome Sulpher!
Welcome !

My attraction (GAS !) for acoustics lead me to learn how to fine tune them and craft my own bone nuts and bridges.
But even though I would not push myself to build one, I encourage you to pursue your own way and keep us informed...
