hi, im curentelly using some elexir 11-49 and im afraid to go with something like 12-52. Bending is not an issue since i got fairly strong fingers. The only problem that im not sure what will happen if i put 12-52 on my guitar. I am very scared when tuning in e standard with a fresh pack of strings. i am wondering if they can break while tuning them in e standard and is there any risk that my headstock break?

There should not be any risk of headstock break (unless it is an extremely inferior and cheap build) What you may find is a slight change in the action of the action of the strings due to a higher string tension. Also depends on what type of guitar. It it is a strat with trem, you will most likely have to set it up again.

Plus the nut might start binding. Can you tell us what is the guitar? How thick / thin neck is, you might need to do truss rod adjustment as well as bridge / action adjustment.

What is the scale length? Gibson (24.75) or Fender (25.5).
For example I am using 9s on Fender scale and 10s on Gibson and get about the same feel / tension.

let us know and friends here will help you
