Having problems with Canada Post

I just bought an amp (Fender Champ) from a forumer and I pay by Money Order. I send it right to the States by Express Post! I take the standard sending so it supposed to take 4 days. But the problem is: the guy never receive the money. I look on the net with the tracking number and there's no changes since they said it's on the way. I went to the post office and they told me it's supposed to be there but if not I can complain to the costumer's service. I called and talk to a guy and he told that he will call me back tomorrow to fix it. There's an insurance on the letter and I'm thinking get a refund. Did someone already did that? I want to know if it's really complicated/long/annoying? Isn't cool for the guy, and bugging for me. Don't wanna pay twice for something!
Can you help me, please?

Most likely the problem is at the border. I've shipped and received many items cross border through the post office without a hitch. I'd say give it another couple of days.
If you maintain communication with the chap on the other end he'll at least know he's not getting the shaft. Good luck.
Good to hear it finally arrived. I wonder if the guy would be willing to do business with another Canauck:eek::smilie_flagge17:
