There 's a local band called Punch Drunk Cabaret. They have performed the last two years I have been at the Blues On Whyte block party in Edmonton. Very enjoyable live band,... Video and Picture of the lead singer/guitarist

Yes, a bit too rock for rockabilly. Billy seems to be missing.:)

These guys opened for RHH a couple of times. I think they are more in 'the vein' (pun intended).

From what I've seen of Blues on Whyte, it looks like a terrible place for rockabilly. Rockabilly is for places that are hard for seating. The old Suburbs was awesome for that stuff and rockabilly/psychobilly bands frequented there a fair bit.
