My younger self was married to a woman who tried to control me.
My guitars and amps (and motorcycles) were subject to her control.
Or so she thought.
Let's put it this way ... I'm not married anymore.
It wasn't just the guitars and amps and bikes.
It was my very life itself she thought she controlled.
You know that expression?
She's not happy until you're not happy?
Yah, that about sums it up.
I won't live like that, eternally badgered.
Life is too short to waste it with caustic people.
Thankfully, the only 'children' of that short union were a Fender acoustic and a Traynor bass amp.
She got custody of the Fender and I got the rest.
She had already aborted two Hondas in the first trimester(s) but I went on to build a large and happy multicultural family.
In my peaceful family I have Canadians, Americans, Japanese, an Austrian, a German, a pair of Koreans and a lovely woman who has no plans to evict any members of my family.
I am at peace.
