Anyone know of a good guitar tech in the Barrie/Collingwood ON area? Particularly in need of someone with electronic skills.

Bumping this thread because I’m looking for a good guitar tech in the Barrie/Newmarket area, mostly for setup, pickup swap and other electronic work for several guitars. Someone good at diagnosing and making appropriate adjustments preferred. Someone that won’t break the bank would be a plus.

Also looking to get some fret work done. Level and crown a couple of guitars as well as a refret. With regards to the refret, it has to be a top notch guy as the guitar in question has great sentimental value and “accidents” are simply not an option.

My tech is Fred Gabrsek from Freddys Frets.
I would trust him with anything.
He is fairly priced but is in Niagara on the Lake.

Unfortunately that’s like a 2 hour drive. I’m sure I could get someone closer, in Toronto, but I would prefer to not have to go even that far.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. So far I’m still tech-less. I’m willing to expand my distance travelled to Newmarket or Richmond Hill etc. to find the right guy.

I really want to find someone that I can develop a relationship with and so far I haven’t found anyone that makes me feel like they really CARE.

Any other suggestions?
