Guild has sent me one for review and I have it in my possession as I write this. My review will be appearing in an upcoming issue of Vintage Guitar magazine.
It's a very nice guitar, all in all. The strings are set up in low string first courses unlike the Rickenbacker 12 string, so if you're looking for that sound, it's not quite the same. Overall, it's a good player with a wider neck than Brand R, that will allow players to form some of those suspended chords that are difficult on the narrow Rick necks. The sound is adequately jangly, if you're into the Byrds/Beatles/Searchers/Petty school of musical thought. It has been offered to me at a reduced price, but I have to pass on it, unfortunately, so it's going back soon.
