Oh yeah, for sure! Total amateur hour here, and loving every minute of it. Some evenings I work on songs in Reaper, other evenings I watch the Raptors and noodle on the guitar until something sounds interesting, then I save it on the MX5's looper.

The MX5 has a 20-minute looper. Yep, you heard that right. That, and the pretty but still amazingly simple to use GUI that practically begs you to play and experiment, are its calling cards.

Welcome! I was in the same boat (on and off the past 20 years) and started up again in 2018. As crappy as the pandemic was, it at least gave me more time to play regularly... so much so that it is now part of my day - I don't ever see myself taking any prolonged breaks anymore.
