I'll bite. The country in which the CNC machines are operated means very little. I've read many a favorable review of the Tribute series.

Yes exactly. They are contractually obligated to not sell you some things.
I didn't realize that. It wouldn't matter to me anyway. If I was going to buy one, I would have it shipped to the border and go pick it up or buy it while I was there and save the tax. You can bring back $850.00 worth of goods if you have been there 48 hours or more.

I bought an Affinity Tele and boughht a GFS repro 70’s humbucker and new bridge pup. Had them installed then Replaced the pots and cap for an orange drop. I love the sound I am getting for blues and rock.
The Affinity plays quite well after a pro setup too. Love the neck. If you can find a cheap Tele, then replacing parts makes it a very affordable bluesboy. Even cheaper if you do the work and setup yourself.
