Who cares? (Thanks OP for posting though)

There is some kind of cult following for these versions. Especially, the v1.4 so there are some that would jump on this I suppose lol
I had an OCD V1.4.
I sold it and I'm not sorry I did.
Not my cup of tea.
I have a couple of other Fulltones I like very much, though.
Just don't see what the hype is about with the OCD.

No clue. Never owned one and don't really have any interest myself. The only Fulltone product I own is a Clyde Deluxe Wah and I really love that thing. Seems like the forum shares your sentiment though lol. Worth a shot to see if someone was interested.

I think the big issue is that Mike Fuller has proved a repeatedly that he isn't someone the majority of people want to associate themselves with.

Why is that?
Why is that?
He rants and yells and does the same to customers.

I have the same wah and like it a lot. I bought a second one for backup a few weeks ago. A day later the power jack broke on my original one and I grabbed my new one and carried on. I bought a replacement jack from next gen for 59 cents.

Thats good that it was a quick/cheap fix. I've had mine for over 10 years at this point and been lucky to have zero issues to speak of knock on wood. However, a backup isn't a bad idea; just a little on the expensive side.

Interesting.
I'd never heard that before.

I picked mine up mint and hardly used for $125.

I had an angled jack plugged into the output on the left. The angle must have swung around to face the back and rested on the power jack. Somehow it forced on the output jack and cracked the 9v socket in the pedal.
Why is that?
He also went on a pretty interesting anti-BLM rant around the time of George Floyd’s murder. It was enough for me to not want anything to do with him out his company. He’s since made some half assed apology, but the cat was out of the bag.

I was not aware of that. Thank you for drawing that to my (our) attention.
I did a search and found a few pages discussing it but the original content has obviously been removed.
I found enough to get the gist of what happened and it was clearly unacceptable.
Even worse, it kept going on for a while even after he was challenged over it.
My perception of Fulltone as a company has changed.
I have a couple of Fulltone pedals so that cannot be undone.
The issue of whether they are good pedals or not is now irrelevant to me.
I won't ever be buying another Fulltone product and I won't be recommending them to others.
People can have whatever vile personal opinions they like but when they make them public and then double down several times in public before finally relenting to pressure and apologizing .... there are consequences.
Fulltone is dead to me now.
I'll have to mull over this for a while before deciding if I'm going to keep the pedals or what.

mike has a well earned reputation for being an asshole. the comments he made about the BLM protests were gross, thoughtless, and totally par for the course. i try to listen when people tell me who they are.

loved my ocd and fd2, but there's a million great overdrives out there and i don't miss them at all.

So now if I'm racist I can't tell anyone about it?
Let's not turn this into a Fulltone bashing thread.
i think the character of the person i'm buying from matters, and mike fuller is a rotten guy. i absolutely encourage anyone to think about it when they're thinking about one of his pedals. they're good, i like them a lot, and i won't buy or use them because he went really out of his way to show everybody what kind of guy he is.
