As suggested by forum member Ray Cathode, we'll start a thread for ways of dickering around with how pedals achieve clipping. These could be simple easy-to-do mods for popular pedals that even beginners could do, to new ideas, or weird ideas. The idea is not necessarily to achieve more fuzz, but rather to be able to achieve different distortion qualities, including surprising ones.

1] Anyone else tried placing inductors in series with clipping diodes? = more dynamics, & some clean blended bass.
2] With diodes to ground (vs feedback), I've been foolin' around w/ using all 3 terminals of a pot in series with the diodes, so that the wiper is the output, left is the clean input, right is the diode pair.
