Any fellow guitar players out there... Does anyone have experience with the Tech 21 Fly Rig? I'm looking to get rid of my Marshall MG100 and want to upgrade to something compact, cost efficient, but doesn't sound like garbage or noisy

I had a chance to have a Ritchie Kotzen Fly Rig at home to play around with on loan , and it was amazing into a perfectly clean amp.

I have the RK5, which I use as a backup for my Helix, but also as my practice rig when I'm in rehearsal spaces. It sounds great into a PA or amp. Reverb is decent, but can get to be too much really quickly (gotta watch those knobs!).

The delay section is really good. Lots of time, tap tempo, modulation, etc.

The OD section is pretty decent, but the one thing I don't like about them is that the boost is pre-drive, which basically just saturates the drive further. You can't really get it to do solo boosts. If that's a dealbreaker for you, then you should look at something else. For me, it's annoying, but again, I'm only using it for rehearsals and if other things blow up.
