I picked up a Simon & Patrick woodland cw spruce that was ahem, mis treated. The back is coming off on the corner, and the wood needs some repair. Can I just heat the edges with an iron or something being careful of binding and remove it, or so I have to remove binding first? Would like to take off just to repair wood, but may be to much work to do that.

Well, glued screwed and tattooed as an old house builder used to say lol... well glued, clamped, sanded, filed, and almost ready for a cost or two of lacquer.. guitar sounds amazing.. quite like Simon and Patrick guitars..
Just need a little stain on bottom, than going to re lacquer the back..
