So I just picked up my new Fender and noticed something different from my other Fenders.

If you see the red circle in photo, you can see the gap between neck and body of guitar.

I have American Standard Tele and Mexican Strat, they both have no floating part like that.

Is this normal? or it's a manufacture defect?

This is normal for a 22 fret neck-however the overhang is a bit high maybe due to neck angle in the pocket of the body-I believe you can adjust this on these guitars

Yes, it is normal. The American Strat has 22 frets, as opposed to the 21 frets on the Mexican.
