What was the one where Palin was a chiropodist in some shithole northern town just after the war and Maggie Smith was his social climbing wife. I thought that all was kind of a laugh.

Someone gave me a cd of “Withnail and I” still have to watch it.

A list of my fave movie pics is a bit of moving target - always changing the order, inserting/deleting a title or two as time goes on. Can say this though, The Shawshank Redemption is perennially in my top three since it was released. The Revenant struck me as the kind of movie that could become a classic; filmmakers speak highly of the cinematography and the scoring of that film.

-Hombre mirando al sudeste (there's a similar movie in English named K-Pax)
-Oh brother where art thou (because of the great soundtrack)
-Eyes wide shut
-Spaceballs
-Forest Gump

There are several more

It’s a Wonderful Life.

And this is the best moment. So much emotion without a single spoken word. Art.

And the 2nd best moment is when George’s brother Harry says his toast, “to my big brother, the richest man in town”.
