Value changes depending on the person. Im not sure what exactly you are trying to accomplish here?

With trade and cash, I got this '03 Gibson DC LP for the equivalent of $400.
Take a guess why.

Basically what's the best bang for your buck amongst each of the major brands
Middle of the lineup for basically any major brand.

Fender standard, gibson studio, prs S2.

Reverend puts out some good guitars for the price range.
My Flatroc was good to go out of the box, giggable.

Those Yamaha Revstars seem to be a decent deal even new.

As far as the big three, Budda covers it above, I'd add the PRS SE line in there too.

I'm not sure there's ANY good value for the money new Gibson or Fender guitars right now in this market (other than the odd Gibson blowout model at Best buy that occasionally pops up).

Take an American Standard Strat or Tele for example. Nice guitars...but $1800 nice? I think not.

I played a revstar on the weekend. Was killer.
