Would it be safer for your guitars neck to try and even out the string tension?

Curently I use 10-46 wich looks like this(D'Addario):

Item#- Note- inches- mm- lbs- kg-

PL010- E- 0.010- 0.25- 16.2- 7.35-

PL013- B- 0.013- 0.33- 15.4- 6.98-

PL017- G- 0.017- 0.43- 16.6- 7.53-

NW026- D- 0.026- 0.66- 18.4- 8.34-

NW036- A- 0.036- 0.91- 19.5- 8.84-

NW046- E- 0.046- 1.17- 17.5- 7.94-

Here is what i would like to try buying singles:

Item#- note- inches- mm- lbs- kg-

PL010- E- 0.010- 0.25- 16.2- 7.35-

PL013- B- 0.013- 0.33- 15.4- 6.98-

PL017- G- 0.017- 0.43- 16.6- 7.53-

NW024- D- 0.024- 0.61- 15.8- 7.17-

NW034- A- 0.034- 0.86- 17.6- 7.98-

NW044- E- 0.044- 1.12- 16.1- 7.30-

Just wondering if this would be healthier for the neck in the long run?

i dont think the extra couple lbs matter that much, the neck is only a couple inches wide.

I agree. That small of a difference is not a big deal. I have run 13-56's on my old Strat and that was even at standard E tuning for awhile. String tension does not matter if the numbers are relatively close.:DevilGuitar:
