I own this very special guitar an Epiphone Sheraton II

Very good axe. On the headstock is says "Gibson"

I assume it means Gibson pick ups, because the guitar is made in Hong Kong

Anybody owns the same? If so, do you know the king of pups? Alnico or 490's

Thanks for your time

You mean like this?

It just means that Epiphone (owned by Gibson) are trying to get a little bit of a "coolness effect" from the Gibson brand name. There's nothing Gibson about it, really. No Gibson parts or anything- it's all Epiphone.

I have a Sheraton made in Korea, no idea what they used for stock pups but they were not to bad. Found the neck a little muddy sometimes so I opted to change them out. As for the rest of the guitar no complaints.
