Give us a review of the pedal after you play with it for a bit. I haven't owned any of the X-series pedals.

The DF7 is a great distortion pedal - you can really tweak it and get pretty much any sort of distortion sound that you have on your mind. I'm currently selling mine only because I had bought the GNX3000 modeler over the summer and I haven't been using the DF7 as much. But prior to acquiring that, I used to run the DF7 at the front of a Marshall MG50DFX amp and that's how I would get my "gain" channel - it just blew the amp's gain channel out of the water!
