Swapping a pickguard isn't something you should pay someone to do. There's absolutely nothing technical or remotely hard about it. Should only take about a 1/2 hour if you haven't done it before.

For 30-50 bucks I'd rather do it myself and spend the "profits" on beer, picks and strings.

I'm a big do-it-yourselfer and prefer to pay myself in experience, tools and cool stuff that I can use over and over again than pay someone else. Up to a point, of course. There's always a point where you can get yourself in way too deep and end up paying for something twice due to your bad decisionmaking. Haha.

Pickguards can go from $20.00 to as much as you want to pay depending on the material you want to use. Check out Warmoth or Pickguard Heaven if you want some real exotic looking pickguards and a wide variety of styles colours and materials.
