This RCA Model 400 is a push pull 6V6 unit which I will convert to a Bernie ala Tony(tex) style.

Thanks...this is what I have adopted as a hobby and I purchased a large stash of raw materials, enough to make six or seven more, some in wood cabinets....I do have to move a few more of these finished amps out the door to new homes if any of you are interested....at parts cost which hovers around 500$

Probably best to strip the point to point and layout your desired amp, with in that chassis if your planning on using that. I once had a pair of old 6V6's
in a project I done years ago, they had some cool over tones that modern simular powewr tubes didn't. The oil capacitors are best suited for
a guitars tone cap .. if the right capacitance.

I have not determined if i can fit a suitable speaker within the existing case and may make a new cabinet for the chassis

The framework is light cast..i could use a cutting wheel to make space and still have the challenge of rattling flimsy panels...not a successful planYou're just not trying hars enough
