Hi Dale...its faded Cherry with standard neck carve and Throbak SLE-101 LTD pickups. As far as I know, the Throbaks were a later upgrade, and not installed at the factory.

I traded two excellent guitars for it, but have absolutely no regrets.

No thinness or harshness at all, of course. My preference is the LC30.

Yes, the I30LC is a really lovely guitar.
Is the body size on that Collings about the same as the Gibson/Epi 339 model guitars?

@dale Thanks for including the dark, clean, jazz tones at the end of the video. The combination of your playing and that tone is superb!

Might be more efficient to find a total stranger who owns a Collings and get him extremely drunk....then borrow his Collings.
