I checked out one of these today at the music store.

With this Tele, the tone was absolutely amazing.



I was impressed with both the amp and the guitar. The fit and finish of this Tele was superb, talk about a beautiful neck. The amp allows the user the option of plugging into a cab too, sweet feature. Check them out if you haven't already.

I read, somewhere - on another forum I think, about one guy who swapped the speaker and the tubes. He thought it was awesome. Just as good as any booteek champ in his opinion.

Robert, I read a lot of reviews over @ the TDPRI; the majority of folks had positive feedback. Wouldn't it have been sweet if it was ptp. Btw, I've got a set of JJ's and a couple of old GE pre-amp tubes kickin around; I wonder :banana:

I tried it the other day at L&M and enjoyed it.

Its not much more expensive than a little SS practice amp.

It was pretty tinny and the distortion was a little ratty sounding, but that was part of the charm. I agree, with some NOS tubes, and a Weber 6 in speaker, it would probably be even cooler.
