Why would I want to do that you ask?

Well, my high quality but stupidly under-knobbed interface makes me bump, tap and scroll through various screens just to set the output levels.

I want to more quickly and easily control the output levels via sliders on a mixer. The interface (Apogee Duet iOS) outputs line-level which I think all passive mixers can take as an input.

But, can I output a mixer's left and right Aux sends (or control room sends or monitor sends) to the amplifier?

Well, there are a few options.

Does the amp have a power-amp in?

What is the amp?

I bought something to go from line-level to instrument level, ART DualRDB.

But you may be able to go straight from the Apogee to the guitar amp if you keep the output volume down on the Apogee, or use an attenuator.

Yo HH, the amps are standard config. A '65 DRRI and a Blues Cube Artist. I wouldn't want a setup that allows the possibility that an amp's input circuit might be damaged by someone accidently moving the output levels too high. Maybe this is just a disaster waiting to happen?
