i have 62 ri strat and find that the bridge pup is too thin and has too much treble. any suggestions for a warmer ,fatter and bluesier sounding non noisless pup.

I always find strat and tele bridge pickups a bit bright and thin. I have tried a bunch of things to help, and here's what I use:

My favorites for the sound you're describing are these, the strat plus set, and he'll sell you just one if you want. Really nice guy.

If you want to go with a canadian, try Mike Turk, he can wind you up whatever you need (just tell him the sound you're looking for). His pickups are super.

Finally, if you're in a hurry, the Duncan custom five two bridge is widely available, and sounds fat, less trebly, and tight in the bass strings.
