Yeah, I've had teh previous model for a few years, used it for solo gigs and I love it. I think the quality of sound is diminished very slightly but only to the trained ear. It's great to practice solos, work on multilayring guitar (as many layers as you want) and storing sound effects. For the band, I have sounds stored into it (the jet sound for Back in the USSR, the tick tock sound for Pink Floyd's "Time" etc)
you're lucky, it stores way more time than mine, I only get 5 mins in total then it's full, I think you get 20. Plus I paid $500 for mine, that was when it first came out.
Just keep in mind, the more guitars you layer into it, the louder it gets so try to keep it to a minimum.
