An interesting bit of info here (BBC). Amazon has reported a 9500% increase in the sales of George Orwell's 1984 since the the change of the political climate down south.
No offence meant to Orwell or 1984. Huxley had praise for him and they had much in common, they just differed in what they thought the means would be.
For those who don't know, Huxley also wrote The Doors of Perception, which is where "The Doors" got their name (and some psychedelic inspiration) from.
Huxley got that title (and some influence) from William Blake. Which of course leads to that bizarre film featuring Johnny Depp and a very strange Neil Young soundtrack, "Dead Man".
