I agree on your content, it's this that worries me. We don't need another political party heated debate.
Hey Jeff, even I am gonna pass on this one!
Like David, I live in Ontario too. It's just that I can't get wound up over such stories anymore.
I mean, like what else is new? Eh?
After a while you just get numb. It's nice to see someone else wake up and smell the coffee, though. Misery loves company, I guess. David's right that this is a non-partisan issue.
I predict things will stand, however. Those that smoke and go to casinos will be happy. Those that don't smoke and go to casinos won't even notice - have you heard the stories of folks wearing adult diapers so they don't have to leave their favourite slot machine? If the smell of passive smoke bothers you try stale urine...
Those that wish to smoke and go to clubs will continue to be ignored. Those that don't smoke will be happy in the clubs, if a little lonely amongst the mostly empty tables.
Me, as I've said I haven't smoked in years but I don't go to clubs much anymore. My music is classic (geezer?) rock but I'm sick of the same old set lists that play little that I actually listened to when in my formative years.
I've been raiding EBay for vinyl that I play on my tube stereo receiver. I've got enough Janis, Jimi, April Wine, Perth County, Fairport Convention, Moxy, Cactus, Frank Marino, Sonny Terry, Crowbar/Biscuit, Poco, Lightfoot, Stan Rogers (never his brother Garnet!), Firesign Theatre and lots more to last me until I'm "...six feet under! Pushin' up wheat for the hungry!"
The world goes where it will and crankin' won't change it. Just remember that there's no law forcing you to always follow.
